Leonis is the second planet in the Ceti Beta system and the site of a major Terran Federation colony among The Twelve.
History[]
During the colonization of The Twelve, Leonis was the first world in the Ceti Beta system to be colonized. The large plains on the planet have allowed Leonis to start off as an agricultural colony. However, the dedicated expansionist effort of the Terran Federation following the Lirin War led to rapid expansion of the colony.
In a few short years, Leonis was a major hub of education and industry among the Inner Colonies. Its major exports include the sports drink, Leonis Red and a popular wine known as Leonis Sparkling Wine.
