Shanxi is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
Shanxi was one of a series of pioneer colonies established by the Terran Federation during the Great Expansion. Originally colonized by a group of Human farmers of Chinese origin, the colony prospered for the length of the Great Expansion. Over time, Shanxi accepted a variety of cultures, both human and non-human.
During the Scoodian War, it was feared that Shanxi would be attacked by Scoodian forces. However, after the Battle of Elysium, the Scoodians were beaten back to their home territory, relieving many colonists. Following the war, Shanxi accepted many refugees of worlds destroyed by the Scoodians.
